Stocking Up

What we did on my day off last weekend:

Discovery of "2 buck Chuck" + buy one, get one for a nickle at BevMo = one large stock up of booze.

Drew even got some BEER NUTS to continue the boozeyness.

He looks so happy. Hehe :)

Then, we made some steaks and mashed potatoes for a special dinner!

This = me very satisfied!!

I have Friday and Saturday off this weekend and am looking forward to spending another fun weekend with Drew!

Nerdy Business

I love that Drew is the king of techy nerdyness. I came home to find a new toy that he borrowed from work.

He brought home a sweet projector and we were able to watch The Office and Glee on the wall last night. Sooooo, cool. It was like being at the movie theater.

Making Moves

My life has taken a refreshing turn within the last couple of weeks. My boss offered me an as needed MED TECH position on top of my full-time CNA position at work! I am so happy because I am gaining tons of valuable experience for my future nursing career!

Last week, I went to a training session at a local pharmacy. Apparently, they love to decorate for various holidays.

I was given a goodie bag and even practiced with a bubble pack full of jelly beans.

Oh and I can't forget that I also stopped at the cupcake shop and tried a new flavor....Peanut Butter Chocolate :)

This whole month, I am training as med tech on various days. I get to distribute medications, eye drops, nose sprays, creams, oxygen/breathing treatments, ect. I also correspond with the doctors and pharmacies. It has been really fun! Now, I just need to get into school!!

Today was PERFECT! 79 degrees for a high! Drew and I went to the beach and relaxed there for the afternoon.

Then, we grabbed some lunch at Joe's Crab Shack...they have some really fun drinks so we tried a couple! It was super nice because we were able to get an ocean view table on the patio.

Next, we walked home but stopped by the bay down the street from our apartment to watch the sailboats.

Here is Drew at the beach. I fiddled around with this picture for 20 minutes and I cannot figure out how to flip it without distorting it. SO sorry for the taco neck crank but here he is!

We are going to try to spend all day outside tomorrow as well because it is supposed to be74 degrees! I'll post some more pictures tomorrow! 

Ocean Beach

I forgot to put this up from the weekend...

Beautiful view looking down on Ocean Beach. We were able to walk around "OB" a little bit and it seems like a really fun place. I can't wait to go back and explore!

Packer Fan For A Day

Look at those crazy Packer fans!

Drew and I had so much fun together for the SUPERBOWL...We started out the day by meeting some of Drew's coworkers in Ocean Beach at the Blue Parrot for brunch. I had the best Chocolate Chip pancakes that I have ever had.

My expression in this picture describes my confusion as to how I suddenly became a traitor to MN. I have to admit it was fun being a Packer fan for the day!!!

After brunch, we came back to the apartment and partied the day away while watching the game.

After the game, we walked to the beach area and got some Taco Bell then checked out the Aussie Pub which is known as the Packer bar of PB.

It was a good time and we had a fantastic day overall!! GO PACK GO :)
